Summary
Cornerstone Advertising is seeking a talented and experienced Email Marketing Specialist to
join our dynamic team of marketing professionals. In this role, you will craft and execute
impactful email marketing strategies designed to drive customer engagement, revenue growth,
and loyalty. You will collaborate with clients to design segmentation strategies, deploy tools to
manage these segments effectively, and deliver measurable results. This role requires a creative
eye for design, exceptional copywriting and editing skills, and a deep understanding of email
marketing trends and technologies.
You will be assigned to a regional team and will operate in an agile workflow environment,
ensuring rapid iteration, continuous improvement, and seamless collaboration with other
departments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills,
and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring email marketing
best practices.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Strategy Execution
a. Develop and implement email marketing strategies that drive results and support clients’ growth objectives
b. Own the end-to-end execution of email marketing programs, including design, audience segmentation, scheduling, testing, approvals, and performance reporting.
2.Collaboration & Communication
a. Work closely with marketing managers, and production teams to ensure campaigns align with client objectives and brand standards.
b. Partner with design teams to create visually appealing, brand-consistent emails.
3.Optimization & Testing
a. Analyze campaign performance data to identify actionable insights and optimize for key metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
b. Execute A/B testing regimens on subject lines, layouts, formats, and frequencies to improve engagement and ROI.
c. Provide detailed campaign reporting and present strategic recommendations to clients.
d. Utilize data to refine strategies and inform future campaigns.
4.Innovation & Content Management
a. Identify opportunities to improve performance by leveraging innovative tactics, tools, and strategies.
b. Build and maintain a comprehensive monthly email content and promotional calendar tailored to client goals.
c. Repurpose and optimize existing content to align with campaign objectives.
5.Professional Development
a. Stay up-to-date on email marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices through continuous education.
b. Adapt to new methods, procedures, and challenges with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in email marketing with a proven track record of driving engagement and results.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills for client-facing copy.
- Expertise in CRM and email marketing platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Service Titan Marketing Pro, Salesforce, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with HTML and CSS for coding responsive emails.
- Proficiency with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Digital Media Dashboards, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, direct marketing principles, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing large subscriber databases and implementing segmentation strategies.
- Well-developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and organization skills, proactive, problem-solving, and planning skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with clients, team members, and business contacts.
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Must be able to proofread own work and the work of others
Working Conditions
The job is usually performed indoors in a traditional office setting. The position is a hybrid in-office position (unless otherwise approved), and standard hours of work and days are 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The position is in the office Monday through Thursday, and the option to work remotely is available on Fridays. Occasional local travel may be required.
Activities include:
- Extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a computer monitor.
- The ability to communicate orally with clients, candidates, management, and coworkers, both individually and in front of a group, is crucial.
- Regular use of the telephone and email for communication is essential.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential for everyday conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents.
- It requires good manual dexterity when using standard office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, copier/scanners).
- No heavy lifting is expected; exertion up to 30 lbs. of force (e.g., tablet, laptop, computers, office supplies) may occasionally be required.
- The employee is required to bend and stoop.
